Neymar is back! Brazil striker returns to full training with Paris Saint-Germain just in time for World Cup
- Neymar was back in full training on Thursday with Paris Saint-Germain squad
- He could play his first match since a broken metatarsal vs Caen on Saturday
- 26-year-old will be back for World Cup and claims ‘the cup has to be mine!’
The Brazilian has been missing from first-team action for three months after he sustained a foot injury in February.
PSG shared a photo of Neymar back in full training for the club at Parc des Princes on Thursday
As a result Neymar missed out on PSG clinching the league and cup double, as well as the second-leg of their Champions League round of 16 tie with Real Madrid.
PSG have one game to go this season and Neymar could feature in it when they face Caen on Saturday.
The news will be welcomed in some parts of South America with Brazil’s star man looking increasingly likely he will be back to his best by the World Cup.
Neymar is desperate to win Brazil’s first World Cup since 2002 when they beat Germany
He recently spoke of his desire to win the tournament this summer and with Brazil favourites with the bookies, he will have the weight of his country on his shoulders to deliver the trophy.
‘The World Cup is the biggest championship in the world, I just want to play and be a champion,’ Neymar told Desimpedidos in a Facebook interview. ‘This cup has to be mine.
‘What inspires me the most is playing football. Being inside the field is my greatest joy.’
