Pixie Lott gushes about fiancé Oliver Cheshire

Her long-term boyfriend Oliver Cheshire popped the question during a romantic date at St Paul’s Cathedral last November after six years of dating.

And Pixie Lott has revealed she and the model work so well as a couple because they have ‘grown up together’ – adding that she loves his ‘sense of humour’.

Speaking exclusively to MailOnline for the launch of the Shell #makethefuture campaign, she also confessed the pair are hoping to have two weddings next year.

Discussing why they gel so well, she said: ‘His sense of humour. We like the same things, the main thing is that we’ve grown up together.’

And touching on their wedding plans, Pixie added: ‘We were saying September next year, so that still give us lots of time I think.

‘I know some people plan their wedding four years in advance, in really unorganised.’

The Mama Do singer revealed her mother and sister managed to organise their weddings in just six weeks, which she finds encouraging.

‘You can set a quick turnaround, it can be done. Christmas will be a good time to sit down and actually talk about,’ she added.

The blonde beauty added that the couple are hoping to have two weddings – one in the countryside and a smaller in a ‘hot country’.

‘We want to be in the UK for sure, because we have a big family and want everyone to be involved. Probably in the countryside somewhere.

‘We haven’t seen any venues yet, we need to get down to that and find one really special.

‘I’m always in the studio whenever I can, because you never really know what you could come up with at any point.

British shoppers may be buying products of modern…

Press Association

The products of modern slavery “stare at us in the face” as we shop on Britain’s high streets, the International Development Secretary has said.

Penny Mordaunt said “it is possible that the clothes we wear, the electronics we use and the food we eat could be the product of child and forced labour” in businesses’ supply chains around the world.

She set out how Britain would spend £40 million of funding pledged by Prime Minister Theresa May in September to help more than 500,000 vulnerable men, women and children who have either survived modern slavery or are at risk of becoming victims.

Part of the package will go towards targeting problem sectors, like the garment industry, fisheries and construction.

The products of modern slavery “stare at us in the face” on Britain´s high streets, Ms Mordaunt said (Anthony Devlin/PA)

Ahead of the International Day for the Abolition of Slavery on Saturday, Ms Mordaunt said: “In the world we live in, it is as easy to traffic people as drugs or guns and not enough is being done to tackle it. This is a global disgrace.

“While we continue to tackle the slavery still present in the UK, the only way for us to eradicate the practice once and for all is to tackle the problem both in the UK and at its source, stamping it out of our economies.

“The additional support we are setting out today will help vulnerable people who face the horrific and daily reality of modern day slavery.

“It will help people who want to earn a decent living and support their families, but end up being forced, coerced and deceived into working against their will in factories, in the sex trade and in the hidden world of domestic slavery.

“Without action, the results of the modern slavery industry will continue to stare us in the face as we walk down British high streets.

“It is possible that the clothes we wear, the electronics we use and the food we eat could be the product of child and forced labour, and this undermines legitimate businesses and economic development which are lifting thousands of people out of poverty.

“It is absolutely imperative that we work both at home and abroad to make certain that we are breaking the business model of people perpetrating an evil abolished by Britain 200 years ago.”

The Ethical Trading Initiative, which is partly funded by the Department for International Development, said 77% of the companies it surveyed last year thought there was a likelihood of modern slavery occurring in their supply chains.

Asda, IKEA, John Lewis, Marks and Spencer, British Airways, Nestle and Tesco were among the companies willing to be named as participants in the research, although the report did not state whether they thought modern slavery could occur in their supply chains.

The package of UK aid includes £13 million to prevent trafficking and forced labour among women migrant workers in South Asia, which has the highest prevalence of forced labour in the world, and will focus on victims of forced domestic work and garment manufacturing.

There is also a £20 million contribution to the Global Fund to End Modern Slavery, which will be used to target problem sectors such as the garment industry, fisheries and construction, combating slavery by working with law enforcement, prevention and victim services, and businesses.

A further £7 million will be allocated for victim support, awareness raising and law enforcement in Nigeria, which is one of the main source countries for trafficking to the UK, often in the sex trade.

Julianne Hough rocks tiny shorts out in Los Angeles

She won two season of Dancing With The Stars as a pro hoofer.

And Julianne Hough showed off her athletic build when she was photographed leaving a dance class in Los Angeles this Thursday.

The 29-year-old, who this year married ice hockey star Brooks Laich, played up her dancer’s legs in a pair of tiny black shorts.

She had slid on a matching sleeveless black top with a plunging neckline, accessorizing with a double-bridge pair of butterfly shades.

Wearing her wavy platinum blonde hair down, the younger sister of fellow dancer Derek Hough carried along an olive green anorak.

Julianne had slung on a small Jaybird bag.

The Utah-born dancer first appeared on Dancing With The Stars during its fourth season, which she won, and stayed on for the fifth, coming in first place again.

She remained on Dancing With The Stars through to the eighth season as a competing pro, but her wins were behind her.

Julianne guest-judged the 17th and 18th seasons, then full-time judged the 19th through 24th seasons – except for the 22nd.

To much fanfare, it emerged in September that she would not be judging the current 25th season, which began that month and ended last week.

Yet this has still been a banner year for Julianne, who married her dashing hockey-playing husband in July after a two-year engagement.

‘I was like, “Oh my gosh, to actually be married and committed to somebody, that just seems so grown-up”.

‘But the first thing that I felt when we got married was: “This is the complete opposite of scary. This is like home”.’

Voices of Hope launch men’s mental health campaign

A new initiative launched to tackle the huge problem of male suicide emphasises the message ‘it’s not weak to speak’.

Shocking statistics show that men make up the huge majority of suicides across Australasia and the video aims to encourage males to shake the ‘she’ll be right’ attitude and start speaking out by asking for help when they are struggling.

Through the month of December Voices of Hope will release three interviews with New Zealand men sharing their experiences with self-harm, depression and suicide.

New Zealand bachelor Zac Franich (left) and Hurricane’s rugby star Michael Fatialofa (right) appeared the teaser clip promoting speaking out around mental health issues

To help promote the campaign, the non-profit organisation enlisted the help of some well-known New Zealanders including viral video sensation Jordan Watson of How to Dad, Jono Pryor from comedy duo Jono & Ben, and The Bachelor’s Zac Franich.

Voices of hope co-founder Jazz Thornton said the appeal is targeted at men because they make up a huge majority of the country’s self-inflicted deaths.

‘We decided to do this campaign because out of the 606 suicides in New Zealand last year, 457 of them are men,’ she told Daily Mail Australia.

‘We are constantly talking about wanting to see our suicide statistics change. It was a hard campaign for us to do, as we are both 22-year-old girls who really don’t know what it’s like for men so we had to talk to a lot of men and find out what the reasons behind the suicide rates can be.’

Joseph Fa’afiu, who appears in the clip, told Daily Mail Australia he has always been reserved in sharing his own personal struggles but after finding the courage he wants to motivate others to find the strength to speak out and seek help.

‘I myself have struggled to open up because the fear of being viewed and labeled a failure and that it would make me look weak.

‘In recent years however I’ve found my voice and I want others to find theirs that’s why I wanted to be part of this great campaign because it’s not weak to speak – it took me a long time to realise this, but now that I know maybe I can help others find their voice.’

Former Bachelor Zac Franich exclusively revealed it was deeply important for him to show his vulnerable side to help encourage conversation around issues that impact so many.

Jazz Thornton (left) and Genevieve Mora (right) established Voices of Hope to raise awareness around suicide

‘I think it’s really important that people (and men in particular) are shown that it’s a sign of strength to show your vulnerabilities and ask for help, as opposed to bottling things up.

‘Having had my own experiences with mental health, I almost felt obliged to speak up and bare all for those who don’t feel they are able to just yet.

‘It’s about changing a mindset and a culture that is heavily ingrained within our society, and movements like Voices of Hope help us all take those little steps in the right direction.’

In March television star Jono Pryor, who offers his voice for the cause, broke down on live television as he revealed a very close friend had taken his own life.

The renowned comic who is a co-host of popular New Zealand TV comedy show ‘Jono and Ben’ shed tears while sharing the person, hugely important to him, had died.

He bravely took a moment to touch on the serious issue of mental health at the end of the episode the Auckland-based entertainer reiterated the importance of asking for help in dark times.

The video launched on Friday appeals to all men of any age and country of origin and hopes to pinpoint triggers while normalising the conversation around men’s mental health.

‘We have been so thankful that so many men have been so willing to step up and get behind this campaign,’ Ms Thornton said.

‘They have all been so incredibly open and willing to share their stories and get behind a movement that encourages men to speak out.’

Genevieve Mora, who established VoH with Ms Thornton, told DMA she is incredibly thankful for the men’s ability to be so candid through their difficult conversations.

‘It’s been amazing sitting down and hearing the stories of the men we have interviewed.

‘Seeing them be so open and vulnerable is so inspiring and a good reminder that men can speak up.’

Both girls have experienced the harrowing impacts of self-harm and strive to make a change on attitude to mental health issues around the globe.

In Australia, 2,866 people died from suicide, and deaths among males occur at a rate three times greater than that for females.

Voices of Hope will also showcase a creative this month that highlights the differences between children and men’s attitudes to mental health.

Kim Kardashian bends over to show off her famous bottom

Kim Kardashian showed off plenty during her nude glitter shoot for KKW Beauty that was reminiscent of Beyonce‘s Flaunt magazine photo shoot from 2013.

The star, 37, flashed part of her chest, her tummy and her legs as she pouted for the camera while hawking Ultralight Beams powders and glosses, which go on sale Friday.

But on Thursday the wife of Kanye West showed off even more as she shared behind-the-scenes images from the photo session on her Instagram stories.

It’s interesting that Kim would copy Beyonce because the two don’t seem to be very good friends.

When Kim first started dating Kanye West she mixed with Bey as Kanye and Jay Z used to be close pals.

But at some point there must have been a falling out as Kanye and Jay don’t seem to spend much time together now.

On Wednesday Jay Z addressed their problems with The New York Times, adding he will always love the rapper.

Still, the Wests and the Carters have been compared mercilessly.

Some people have accused Kim of dressing like Beyonce, and vice versa. And even their daughters Blue Ivy and North have been contrasted.

Even if Kim did copy Beyonce, it will most likely not hurt sales of her KKW products.

The icon has been on a roll with her contour kits and fragrance, which has sold like hot cakes.

They were one of music’s most famous couples during their decade-long marriage.

And Jennifer Lopez has revealed she managed to ‘repair’ her relationship with Marc Anthony after they worked together on her upcoming album Por Primera Vez.

The 48-year-old singer teamed up with the Latin music giant and producer – whom she was married to from 2004 to 2014 – to record the Spanish language album.

The Latina star said that working together helped them patch up some of the ‘fractured’ parts of their relationship so they can now consider each other ‘friends again’.

The Booty star told Spotify’s Viva Latino podcast: (Collaborating) actually kind of repaired certain parts of our relationship that had been fractured from our marriage and our divorce and it kind of made us friends again.

‘Because when we first started working together, it’s how we met … we met working. And so we remembered that like, “Oh right, we connect on this level of music.” We have that. And that’s what the album came out of.’

Shades of Blue actress Jennifer split from Marc in 2011, and their divorce was finalised three years later.

However she has has remained supportive of her former spouse, who sired her nine-year-old twins Emme and Max, ever since.

They couple had been friends long before they were romantically involved, and are now once again on a friendly footing.

The pair have moved on, and Jennifer is now being romanced by former New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez.

Earlier this month, Jennifer recorded her own version of Marc’s track Vivir Mi Vida as a tribute to the 49-year-old musician’s late mother Guillermina Quiñones, who passed away in July this year.

Speaking about her decision to cover the track, she said: ‘The first thing that came to my mind, because Marc’s mom had just passed away, you know, my kids’ grandma, was Vivir Mi Vida.

‘And I thought, “I think that’s a good song to sing right now.”

‘But, in a different way. Not in the kind of up-tempo, rhythmic, salsa way that Marc did it, but in a way where you really hear the words to that song, which is, you know, you have one life and you have to live it.’

I’m A Celeb Iain Lee accused of communicating with outside

Just a day before it was revealed his I’m A Celeb campmates Rebekah Vardy and Dennis Wise are using signals to communicate with their loved ones.

And now it seems a third campmate is getting in on the action as comedian Iain Lee appears to be using repeated gestures to help convey messages to the outside world from the confines of the jungle.

The Sun report that the funnyman has been communicating with the outside world on a number of occasions, after he placed his thumbs together and spread his fingers when Ant and Dec entered camp and in the Bush Telegraph.

Iain seems to be using his hands in the repeated pattern which has led to the claims that he is reaching out to others – much like his campmates.

Rebekah, who welcomed her fourth child, baby son Finley at the beginning of the year, was reportedly hesitant to join the show so far away from home.

Yet it looked as though she is missing her family, as she appeared to send a message to her family from the jungle on Monday.

The 35-year-old  contestant, who also shares Sofia, 2, with her Leicester footballer husband Jamie Vardy, 30, as well as Megan, 11, and Taylor, six, was seen sporting a hat with a heart and ‘u’ scrawled on it, while campmate Dennis Wise, 50, was also accused of making secret hand gestures.

Showing the mother-of-four looking pensive as she sported jungle attire, a heart and a ‘u’ was clearly visible on the hat.

And the image was quickly shared to her Instagram account, marked with an arrow along with a heart emoji.

Despite the display of affection, some fans noted that sending messages to their families is not allowed in the jungle show.

MailOnline has contacted I’m A Celeb and Rebekah Vardy’s representatives for comment.

Viewers noticed he places his hand on his chest and taps it with two fingers when Ant and Dec come into the camp to reveal on live TV who will be facing the Bushtucker trial.

Taking to Twitter to comment on his secret message, one wrote: ‘Dennis always places his hand on his heart when Ant & Dec release who’s doing the Bushtucker trial’ while another added: ‘#ImACeleb secret message from Dennis Wise, always tapping his heart when Ant & Dec are there.’

Panic: Rebekah reportedly almost pulled out of her appearance on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here, over fears of leaving her children behind

This isn’t the first report of secret messages, with former jungle contestant Sam Quek confessing last December that she had sent messages to beau Tom Mairs.

The Olympian admitted at the time that she had scrawled 143 on her hat, which was code for ‘I love you’, and which he later spelled out in petals on her exit.

Meanwhile just days before joining the camp a few weeks ago, reports surfaced claiming Rebekah almost pulled out as she feared she would miss her children too much.

A source told The Sun at the time: ‘She’s going in – but she nearly pulled out yesterday. She’s really worried about leaving her kids behind and is really panicking about it.

‘She was about to pull out because she can’t bear the thought of being away from them for so long, however she has now arranged to fly them out too so that they are with her the minute she leaves the camp.’

‘The only reason she agreed to do it in the end was because her kids begged her to do it. They’re so excited to see her on TV.’

Rebekah has been throwing herself into motherhood since welcoming baby son Finlay at the beginning of the year.

She is also shares daughter Sofia, three, with Jamie, and has Megan, 11, and Taylor, six, from a previous relationship.

The pair first met when Rebekah was hired to organise Jamie’s birthday party in 2014, and they went on to welcome their daughter Sofia before tying the knot at Peckforton Castle in May 2016.

‘Last night was great we got to see her vulnerability,’ she said of Rebekah.

‘I’ve loved it and loved her- she’s not coming across as the funny Becky I know, but she’s not going to do a Toff and laugh about everything.

‘She hasn’t got a reality TV background. When she cracks a bit of banter or a joke, people might not get it and think she’s being rude. I told her to smile a bit more before she goes in, she’s a lovely lovely girl. She’s got a heart of gold.’

Australian reveals her Balinese family could be wiped out

An Australian woman with family on Mount Agung in Bali has revealed the villagers there are just waiting to be wiped out when the volcano finally explodes.

Wendy Westerveld from Victoria has loved ones on the side of the mountain, in the ‘red zone’, which is threatening to explode more every day.

She told Daily Mail Australia the last time the mountain erupted in 1963 the villagers ‘died where they stood, staring up at the mountain’.

‘They are terrified, once it happens they will lose their homes and their animals, their whole livelihood,’ she said.

‘Their belief in God is that he will decide their fate but their fear is real. They truly are not sitting there like I would be, they pray constantly but go about daily life as normal.’

Mrs Westerveld has 28 members of her ‘extended family’ at Desa Tianyar which is 12 kilometres of the top of the mountain.

They have not been evacuated officially – even though their whole village was destroyed last time the mountain exploded. ‘
